Rutile - TiO2
TiO2 has a common structural arrangement shared by many fluorides of the transition metals with formula MX2. Generally, if the radius ratio r-/r+ exceeds ~1.37 then a rutile rather than fluorite structure is favoured.

Complexes that share this structure include..
CrF2, CrCl2, MnF2, FeF2, CoF2, NiF2, V2O4 and TiO2 as well as MgF2 and ZnF2.

Information is available to show how the individual structural pages were created.
